MAX’S Wine Dive in Fort Worth recently named Jenna Kinard its new executive chef.
Kinard’s passion for cooking developed at an early age while recreating her Czech family recipes passed down from her grandmother. Her official culinary career began at 14 at a local pizzeria. Eventually, she received her big break while working for a catering company serving meals to performers on the Warped Tour and Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Kinard’s true motivation to pursue a career as a chef began after facing a difficult and life-threatening battle with anorexia nervosa, a press release stated.
“I used food to conquer and overcome my demons and fell in love with it at the same time,” stated Kinard in the release.“I’m able to express myself, my background and family history through every dish I create. It’s a true art form for me that I use to touch each guest.
MAX’S is in downtown Fort Worth at 2421 West 7th St.
