HOUSTON – Certified meditation guru, mindfulness coach and author of “Hot Mess to Mindful Mom,” Ali Katz, is the new face of Mindfulness App and is spreading her knowledge and guidance to a healthy and happy lifestyle. The Mindfulness App’s main goal is to help reduce stress while also increasing one’s wellbeing.
The app aims to provide guided, silent and personalized meditations, as well as notices and reminders, in order for one to take just a few minutes of the day and enjoy the benefits of meditation, a press release stated.
Katz shares tips about being a working mother and still balancing a healthy lifestyle. She also shares mindful eating tips, favorite holistic snacks or meals for her family, and she has the ability to post motivational mantras or words of wisdom for her audience.
Katz contributes to the app by writing blog posts twice a month and creating a mindful parenting course, where parents get to discover the best ways for the body to deal with stress – sleep, exercise and meditation.
Katz allows her audience to interact with her through Mindfulness App’s Facebook page by participating in a Q&A. Parents reach out for guidance, family fun tips and meditation lessons. As Katz provides answers and tips, she encourages parents to commit to creating their best self, which carries over to better parenting.
Katz, a native Houstonian, began meditating and practicing mindfulness to heal emotional scars she experienced early on in her life. Her meditation has allowed for less anxiety and helped her with character changes, such as patience.
